New Lysol Power & Free Products
I was wondering about the new Lysol cleaning stuff made with Hydrogen Peroxide. How safe is it really? Does it have a scent?
The active ingredient in this new line of products is hydrogen peroxide, but it's only 1-2 percent of the product. The rest is a couple of hazardous chemicals required to be listed on the MSDS, plus fragrance.
I've been using and recommending plain hydrogen peroxide for cleaning and disinfecting for decades. No need to buy it from Lysol when you can buy it very inexpensively at any drug store.

I love using hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle; it works great to clean the shower/tub too.
Hi - and thans for the tip re: hydrogen peroxide for cleaning. Is it necessary to dilute it? Is it good for soap scum, for example, on shower doors? What else is it good for?

.Hi Debra. When you clean your teeth with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, do you make a paste of the two or what. I am getting an uncomfortable tingling from Crest Paste(which I have used my entire life of five plus decades) and from Sensodyne Original Formula, and Sensodyne Pronamel. Looking for something that will not harm teeth. Thank you.

Hi Debra I agree with you Hydrogen Peroxide is an all around cleaning product, I also heard that it is great for teeth and gums, it can whiten the teeth, this is my question to you is this safe to swish with hydrogen peroxide?

Not only is it safe to swish, I personally use hydrogen peroxide and baking soda every day to brush my teeth, recommended by my biologic dentist.
