Buckaroo Organics

Listen to my interview with Lindsay Herron,  Co-founder and CEO of Buckaroo Organics

Organic skin care products for moms and kids, made by a mom who “struggled to find products that weren’t full of harsh chemicals. Products that could actually heal skin issues and were safe for babies.” So she and her husband created a skin care line that is organic, simple, and safe…and even includes a laundry powder that are safe for your skin, made from soapnuts and natural minerals and wool balls to use instead of scented fabric softener sheets. Laundry products contain no fragrance and body care products are fragrance-free or scented with essential oils.

COTTON OF THE CAROLINAS | TS DESIGNS

Listen to my interview with TS Designs President and half-owner Eric Henry.

Cotton of the Carolinas is a collaboration of farmers and manufacturers across the Carolinas dedicated to growing, making, and selling its t-shirts in the Carolinas (but you can buy them too). In particular this website outlines the entire manufacturing process of their t-shirts, from “dirt to shirt.” They even have a map where you can visit the farmers and factories where your shirt was made by finding the resources according to a color-coded thread on the shirt. Organic and non-organic cotton shirts are printed with a nontoxic process cotton. My favorite is the shirt with the “Clothing Facts” label on the from that says “Certified Organic Cotton 100% – Pesticides Used 0%.”
