I’m seeking a brand that’s durable, energy-efficient, and stainless steel, or other material that won’t off-gas. My ancient big stove recently died, and I don’t need another big stove.

After all these years, I was hoping there would be a recommendation for a double burner besides the one mentioned above. if anyone knows of a good one that doesn’t off-gas / cooks well / easy to clean – please let us know! thanks.

I read the reviews of the Kaloric burner on amazon. more than half the 67 reviews mention that it takes forever to boil water (over 10 minutes) and also takes forever to cool down (dangerous to leave empty pots on it). some say it rusts. any other readers with double burner suggestions? something that doesn’t offgas AND functions well?
